On July 14, 2017, a tiny black kitten was found near the highway, alone and severely injured. As our Hope Clinic team examined her, the amount of damage this kitten had endured was alarming. Her tail had been sheared completely off and she was covered in scrapes and other injuries, possibly by being tossed out of a moving car.
Our Hope Clinic team had their work cut out for them, removing dead flesh and maggots from the area where her tail was supposed to be. Once the kitten, named Margaret, was finally cleaned up, warmed up, and fed, she was sent home with a dedicated foster mama to work on nursing her back to life. We had no idea if Margaret would live or not.
It has now been 5 days since Margaret first arrived. Her recovery is going well and her tail is on the mend. However, Margaret isn't "home free" just yet and we still desperately need your help in order to save her life.
Please consider a donation to help save Margaret's life. Whether big or small, any amount will make a huge difference for this tiny baby. After being tossed out on the highway and being left for dead, she deserves to finally know compassion and dedication from true animal champions like you.
As always, thank you for your ongoing support and thank you for being part of our team!
