We want to share our latest "family" portrait. We adopted Zoey (on the left) from the Adrian shelter 10 years ago this past spring when she was just 6 months old. A year and a half later, we adopted Buster, a very skinny, scared, abused 2 year old that soon became Zoey’s best friend and partner in crime. Now, 10 years and 3 moves later, we live in Indiana. As you can see, Zoey and Buster have grown up and flourished. They're now getting used to their new little sister, a badly neglected 1 year old Shih Tzu that we just rescued. It's unanimous in this family – our favorite dog breed is "adopted" – thank you to the Lenawee Humane Society for all the good work you do! – The Gillilan’s
