30 out of 34 animals were adopted during our Empty the Shelters event on April 29, helping us wrap up April with a record breaking number of 125 adoptions!!
For a small shelter that averages about 40 adoptions a month, April was crazy – we were in overdrive sending animal after animal to his or her forever home.
Last Saturday was filled with hugs, happy tears and tons of celebrating. We need to send a HUGE thank you to BISSELL Pet Foundation for sponsoring the adoption fees of every animal during Empty the Shelters, making these new beginnings even better!!
