Becker was castrated with a MACHETE.
No antibiotics, no pain medication, and no access to a licensed veterinarian. Becker was brought into the Lenawee Humane Society on July 19, 2016, with a huge gaping hole, clearly in pain and suffering from this barbaric act.
The Hope Clinic team sedated Becker and immediately performed emergency surgery to correctly neuter him, prevent infection and save his life.
Becker’s surgery was successful and he is now on his way to recovery. Even though he was inhumanely tortured, he still trusts everyone he meets and is extremely grateful that he has his life back.
Emergencies like Becker’s are never part of our budget, but saving lives like his are always part of our mission. Once an animal is officially accepted into Lenawee Humane Society, we are committed to them 100%. While finances are always tight, they are never a consideration when deciding to save a life.
But we can’t do it alone. We need your help to save innocent lives like Becker and other animals who may not have a chance without you. Your gift of $25, $30, $50 or more will help us care for Becker and innocent, abandoned animals like him.
Due to this ongoing cruelty investigation, more details cannot be released at this time.
